Creating magnificent hand made lampshades and pairing them with restored vintage lamp bases is a labor of love for Pamela Forman. Whether working with rare Fortuny Fabrics, vintage French cottons, or exquisite new designer fabrics each shade is a work of art.

Creating magnificent hand sewn lampshades is a labor of love for Pamela Forman. "I've collected vintage clothing and textiles since I can remember. It's a joy to combine these exquisite fabrics with wonderful antique lamp bases to create one-of-a-kind luminary art.

I love being able to use my interior design training and also my floral design experience in creating these truly magical pieces" Pamela's creations are indeed hand-made works of art.

Each shade starts with custom dyed silk for the lining, then is covered with the most delectable vintage embroideries, metallic laces, velvets, and appliqués. The crowning glory is, of course, the hand beaded fringe, made with European glass beads. Pamela then selects the perfect restored lamp base from her extensive collection.
